As we enter the new year, we are preparing for upcoming contract negotiations with KCPL. Negotiation sessions will begin towards the end of this month. Our current contract expires on 4/1/02.

Members of our local's negotiating committee will include:
Mike Long / Chief Negotiator, Linda Mathews, Dave Pinon, Richard McClendon, Kursten Jones, and Melanie Escott / Negotiations Recording Secretary, as well as any expert guests and/or observers as needed.

Our web site now displays a countdown of days until the contract expiration, a communications page specifically for keeping our members updated on our negotiation efforts, as well as a Solidarity Message Board, for messages of support from our brothers and sisters around the world.
