As some of you may have heard, there have been changes in Human Resources. The changes have affected Employee Involvement. As of 11-5-01, I now report to Lora Cheatum, Lead Generalist for Delivery Company. She is the person to speak to if you have any questions regarding Human Resources, and she will direct you to the correct person to call. Kathy Palermo, management facilitator for 1613, will no longer be involved in Employee Involvement. She is working with the new Genco Company on training and development. This change means that I am the only contact person for 1613 Employee Involvement. I will have some added duties and my role as a facilitator will change somewhat.

Our Division was told that changes will be coming throughout the company, big surprise, huh? The changes are beginning in H.R. and they are pretty big changes. If anyone has any questions, please give me a call at 556-2292.

It is important, now more than ever, to become united and involved in our Local. The Company needs to see that we are all united within our local including 1464 and 412. Please support our Research Committee and Negotiation Committee as they prepare for upcoming negotiations. One way to make sure you keep informed of what is going on is to attend Union Meetings, third Thursday of the month, except in December. All updates will be revealed in Union Meetings. Please try and attend this month, November 15th.
